43 Years of Performing Arts Excellence

Founded in 1983, the Quesnel Festival of the Performing Arts began as a small community gathering to celebrate local performing arts talent. What started as a modest showcase has grown into one of the most beloved annual traditions in Quesnel, BC.

Over 43 years, thousands of performers have graced our stages — many going on to careers in music, dance, theatre, and beyond. The festival spans five disciplines: Dance, Piano, Vocal-Choral, Speech & Dramatic Arts, and Band-Instrumental.

Each spring, the festival culminates in the spectacular Celebration of Stars — an evening gala honouring the highest-scoring performers across all disciplines, attended by families, community leaders, and supporters from across the region.
